Save the day for our Annual Meeting!

Monday, December 6 & Monday, December 13, 2021

(Virtual)

Traditionally, we meet in-person for these activities and share a meal together. Due to the pandemic, gatherings remain restricted and many of us prefer to avoid gathering at this time.

Because of that, we will be hosting our Annual Meeting virtually! During the event we plan to feature guest speakers and farm ventures in the morning, followed by elections and Policy and Bylaw discussions in the afternoon. The morning events will be open for the public and the afternoon events will be hosted for MOFU members.

MOFU members: the activities that require voting (elections, Policy and Bylaw discussions) will be calculated using mail-in ballots. These ballots will be mailed to members following the virtual meeting.

12:45 PM: CATTLE PRICE DISCOVERY & TRANSPARENCY ACT

Missouri legislators and industry professionals will join to discuss the recent Cattle Price Discovery and Transparency Act, announced by Senators Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), Deb Fischer (R-Neb.), Jon Tester (D-Mont.), and Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) in early November. We will hear how this legislation impacts Missouri farmers and ranchers and what changes our members can expect to see.
